Located opposite the RSC Theatre in the heart of the town with it's own private car park. Plenty of places close by to explore on foot. So park up and forget about the car for a couple of days. There are many excellent eateries close by catering for all budgets. We stayed in the Cedar Room which was large and nicely decorated. Complimentary tea, coffee, water, biscuits, nibbles, fruit etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was very spacious, with both a bath and double shower cubicle. The toiletries were very nice and lots of them. We didn't run out, which is the case at many hotels we have stayed at! Breakfast was cooked to order and was of a high quality. All of the staff were attentive, polite and approachable.

I often stay here and was delighted that I was allocated the room I first stayed in several years ago with my husband who died last year. Happy memories. I had a view of the Swan theatre and the river. The bed is very comfortable. There was an issue with the shower over the bath but I was assured it would be put right. There are biscuits, apples, popcorn, hot chocolate, real coffee and various teas on the hospitality tray. Breakfast is excellent with a buffet offering French fruit including melon, and fresh pineapple, mixed seeds and flaked almonds as well as the usual cereal and dried fruit

Angela

Our bedroom was very comfortable with a big bathroom. There was a bath as well as a separate shower and plenty of shelf space. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was excellent. The Arden is very convenient, just opposite the theatre and very close to the town centre. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come here again.

Susan

Car parking easy and we could leave the car there after checkout while we went to the theatre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious and full of variety. Accomodation warm and comfortable Location amazing for access to theatre , restaurants and town centre
